Krista's First Overnight

Grandpa and I had the privilege of having Krista here for her first overnight. It was so much fun. We took lots of pictures, but most of them are on grandpa's camera. I really need to learn how to use it and be comfortable doing so. The little gal is walking all over the place, thus the blur of her. We had a lot of fun. It was great to have her since she is changing each week. At least it seems like it to us. We won't have them for a while since Nana is on her way here. We hope Nana enjoys the kids a lot. I am sure that she will do so. I will leave you with this photo and go and enjoy the girls. They are presently both here while Luke is with Jean picking up Nana from the airport.

More Birthday Pictures

The birthday girl is getting ready to blow out her candle. Her family looks on and are ready to help with the blowing. She is wondering what is really going on.It took a bit of prompting to get her to eat the cupcake, but as you can see, she finally dived into it. What girl doesn't like chocolate!

And now the clean baby is back! She was trying for a drink instead of getting washed off. She loves her bath.

Krista is One!!

Krista Alaine Bibby was born one year ago today. Happy Birthday darling child!! We love you dearly. We were so thrilled when your mom & dad called to say you had arrived. It was a joy to bring your brother & sister up to the hospital to see you. They loved you at first sight. Your brother couldn't let you go. And now you are such good friends with your sister.

You are a blessing to our family, and we are so glad the Lord has sent you to join us. You light up our lives. When grandma & grandpa come to see you, you can't get to us fast enough. It brings such joy to our hearts.

It is so amazing to watch your child raise children. It is so heart warming to know that you gave birth to him, and now he has given birth (with help from his lovely wife) to you. May you never know a day that you don't believe in our wonderful Lord. We look forward to the day when you bow your knee to Him.

It was fun to call you this morning and hear you recognize our voices. You giggled, and it warmed our hearts. We hope you are having a great day. And we hope to see you soon. We love you a lot and are blessed to call you "granddaughter!" Happy Birthday!!!!
