No, there aren't any pictures. I need to get my camera fixed or learn how to use Bob's. The problem with his is that it is too large for my purse. It takes great pictures though.
I can't believe it is already Friday. Where has the week gone? The month for that matter! It is October 31, Reformation Day. I know the world calls it Halloween, but not at this house. Today is a day to remember the reformers and to be thankful for the sacrifices that they endured for us to be able to read and understand the Bible on our own through the Holy Spirit.
The week flew by with caring for the grandkids three days this week. Jean has taken on a part-time job at Luke's school to help with tuition and the ever-rising cost of food. She subs and helps out wherever she is needed at FCS. She is a wonderful wife to add this to her already large load of caring for their three, a cousin, and of course, my son! We are so thankful to have her in our family. Our boys have picked the best 'daughters' any parents could have, by God's grace.
I also helped a friend cut out a bunch of paper for a Stamp Camp being held in our church tomorrow. I am really looking forward to the event. We will have two hours of fellowship and come home with 15 Christmas cards. I will have lots of ideas for our cards this year. Just wait and see when you receive yours in the mail in December. :-)
We continue to look forward to our trip to Texas on the 10th. I can't wait to introduce myself to our 9 week old 'human blob.' It is so exciting to anticipate the arrival of another grandchild around the end of May/beginning of June. And the weather should be great. If you think of it, please pray for our trip on November 10th in the morning. We will have a stopover this time, and that will make it a bit more problematic for Bobby.
That should about catch you up on the happenings around here. We are just going about from day to day enjoying the beautiful weather and God's creation out of our windows. Today it is in the low 70s, and the sun is shining magnificiently. What a glorious day to be alive.
Also, PRAY for God to bestow His mercy on our country during these elections. It could certainly change the course of our country by who is elected on Tuesday. AND don't forget to do your part - go out and VOTE!!

Newest Jewel!
Hi folks! We are very excited over here in Indiana. We have just received a picture of the newest addition to our family. You can't make out if it is a he or she yet, but we love him anyway. Joe said the doctor called it a blob, but we are calling it a human blob!! After all, life began at conception. He is only 6 weeks 2 days in formation. Soon we will be able to see more of this precious child. In case you haven't guessed it yet, Joe and Heather are expecting their first child. The expected date of arrival is in early June. We will keep you posted as they keep us that way. It will be so exciting, but also difficult this time around. This baby will be born in Texas. BUT we are only a short plane ride away, and we expect to keep the airways warm and busy. :-) God has indeed blessed our family, and we wanted to have you share in our joy. Congratulations Joe & Heather. We rejoice with you during this happy time.
