Gymnastics Fun

Trampoline - most pics didn't take because he was jumping so quickly.

Balance Beam - he goes across almost running now!

For Christmas we gave Luke and Kayla a session in gymnastics. While Kayla is not ready for more than tumbling; Luke is in his element. So to make better use of our money, we took Kayla's time and added it onto Luke's. He is doing so well that they have moved him up into a class before the 1st session was finished. But now that I am thinking, that means that Kayla was gypped of her Christmas gift. Well, we will just have to remedy that with something special. Maybe a shopping trip with grandma like her momma gets for her birthday. Wouldn't that be fun - shopping with a 3-year old to buy a dress? I may have to do that!! That will be some post.

Baths, then Ice Cream

After taking a bath in grandma's 'pool', it was time for some ice cream. I know, you moms would likely do it the other way around. But I am a grandma, and I can do it my way. After all, I have to clean them up!! Bobby had to get in on the ice cream fun. He is too big for the 'pool' when the kids are in there. The kids even tried the jets in the tub this time and LOVED it. They didn't like the bubbles in their eyes, so next time it is 'special' bubbles.

Uncle Bobby had to get in on the ice cream.

Kayla and Luke love their cones at grandma & grandpa's house.

Messy Krista...

...but she does clean herself up. Who could ask for more?

Valentine's Day 2009

This was such a fun evening. I had asked Bob if instead of giving presents to each other this year - couldn't we have a dinner party. Of course he obliged his wife. The following pictures are of our guests, the warm hosts, and the table itself. I had such a delightful time preparing for the evening, and the time itself was not a disappointment. Everyone said they had a wonderful time and want to make it an annual event. We shall see.

The candles are lit, and the fun is about to begin!!

Theme Dinner at RPCL

We have a theme dinner each year at church planned by the Hospitality Committee. This year they decided to have a murder mystery. They chose a 1946 western murder. You go online and order this, obtain a script, and other assorted goodies. Then you plan your evening. We all dressed up for the era as best as we could - this was the Bibby outcome.

Eric turns 31!

Eric finally got his canoe fund up to where it needed to be and has purchased one. But he needed some things to make it go - paddles, etc. So we helped him out with some of these things. And, of course, Kayla had to try one of them on. She says, "daddy, I am ready!"

Chinese Lunch for Josh

Josh left for the Army about 10 days ago. Before going, Bob and I took him, Eric, and Jean out for a going away lunch. We asked him where he wanted to go, and he picked our favorite Chinese place - The House of Saigon. It was a bittersweet moment. Lunch was great, and we wished Josh the best. We will (already do) miss him, but we are pleased that he has chosen a path for his future. We hope and pray that the Lord will bless his time and keep him safe.

Update & Pictures coming soon!

I know that I have been away from here for some time now. There is no excuse except that I have been having fun with my grandchildren. I am leaving for Texas in the morning where I will have some time to blog. I hope to post pictures and say very little. :-) I also hope to fix some things here that have been deleted accidentally. So check back in a week, and hopefully you will find some pictures from the last 3 months and from my time in Texas. I am going there to see Joe and Heather, but also to attend a baby shower for Baby Bib. Talk with you soon!! I have missed you.
