We took Bobby and the grandkids to Chick-Fil-A last Friday evening. Boy, that was a trip. It went very well, but they only have tables for four!! We managed, but it would have been better with a larger table. I am not complaining, mind you. It is just difficult to get 4 'kids' up to the table with 2 adults when there are only 4 spaces. Luke and Kayla ate their nuggets at different paces, and then they went to the play area. I know, you think Kayla arrived first. Wrong!! She didn't want to eat, and Luke gobbled his food right up. He loves to eat now. It is so fun to take them out. Kayla made it though, and grandpa shot lots of pictures with his new camera. No it isn't a Nikon, Rebecca. But we really like it for the money. I don't know who had more fun - grandpa, Luke, or Kayla! Bobby, Krista, and I watched the fun from afar. Then Krista got bored, so grandma decided to corrupt her with her first sip of Diet Coke. Mom couldn't believe it. Oh well, it had to happen.
That's so funny, because Sarah caught Charlotte drinking from my Diet Coke just yesterday. I certainly wasn't going to tell my granddaughter "NO!". It's so much fun to spoil grandkids and then send them back to their parents, isn't it? It's what we've waited for all our lives.
